About Elvina - Located in Preston
Well, hello there! The name's Elvina, and if you're looking for a fun, flirty tabby with a hint of sass, then you've hit the jackpot! With my gorgeous green eyes and the softest fur you've ever felt, I'm basically a walking, talking ball of charm.
Now, let's talk about my favorite pastime: chasing mice toys. Oh, you haven't seen anything until you've witnessed my lightning-fast moves and impeccable hunting skills. It's like a game to me, and I always come out on top.
But don't let my playful side fool you. I'm one confident kitty who knows exactly what I want. And what I want is a home of my own, where I can perch on the highest cat tree and rule over my domain like the queen I am. From there, I'll indulge in some quality cat TV (aka bird watching) and wait for the perfect moment to claim your lap... or maybe your chest if I'm feeling extra bold.
When I'm not busy being the queen of the castle, you'll often find me supervising your every move, whether you're working from home or slaving away in the kitchen (cooking for me, naturally). And once all your chores are done, you can bet I'll be waiting for you, keeping your spot on the couch (or bed) warm and cozy.
So, if you're ready to add a touch of sass and a whole lot of purrs to your life, then look no further. I'm here, ready to steal your heart and make every day a little brighter. Let's make some memories together, shall we?

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
