Please ensure that you have your dogs up-to-date vaccinations record
Please ensure that you have read the bio - Teddy requires another small breed dog to play and socialise with who lives in the home 24/7.
Hey there, how’s it going? My name is Teddy, and I am ready for my forever home.
Now you have probably looked at my photos and just been blown away at how cute I am – I mean come on how could you not – I am a Cavoodle and I am just a baby at 3 months old.
I currently weigh 3kgs.
I am into care due to personal reasons for my previous owner.
My foster mum says that I am 100% innocent ha ha ha no she doesn't - she says I’m a normal happy fun-loving pup who one-minute sleeps peacefully like an angel and the next is inquisitive and off investigating, wrestling, playing tug of war or chasey!
I love being carried around and with my foster mum, but she says nope I have to walk and be a big boy (then I usually get distracted and stop following her while something shiny catches my attention) and then I hunt her down and make sure she didn't miss me.
I came into care a couple of weeks ago and at first, I was so scared of meeting the other dogs here I screamed and screamed and screamed - my foster mum said I was very dramatic - curiosity got the better of me and within about an hour I was checking everyone out and sniffing everyone and playing.
My foster mum has said that in the last few weeks of playing with lots of dogs of different sizes and ages I am very dog social. I told her of course I’m dog social - I love to play, and wrestle - sometimes chasing wrestle other times that lazy lie down on the bed and side wrestle. My favorite foster brother is a French bulldog who loves to play with me.
My foster mum has taught me lots of confidence and I love to say hi to new people and have them fall in love with me (she says I’m out of the box now and won’t be going back in – I think she just means I have confidence)
I spend my days having access to inside and outside and I love to run thru the doggy dog at a great rate of knots and then other times I like to pause in the middle of the doggy door and create a line up and contemplate life ha ha ha ha
I love to sit next to you for pats, but I would be even happier if allowed on your lap! I have been known to climb over dogs to get to your lap and a cuddle.
I am really good at doing that hero worshipping puppy dog stare and it normally leads to pats and lap time.
I have all my basic training down pat (ha ha ha pun intended) and I’m trying really hard to remember to not jump up on your leg when you get home – I do forget from time to time my manners but that is just because I’m excited your home and I’m still a baby.
I will need to go to a home with another dog or two - I love to snuggle with them on the bed and play and would not do well as an only dog, it’s important that any other dog at the home will want me to be there, playing, climbing over them, worshiping them just you know wanting to be their bff.
I am also really good with kids - I love to play with them and get pats and be the center of attention.
I love to have a shower with my humans and if dog left open will happily invite myself in and have a shower.
While I am a very quiet boy most of the time, I can do some hilarious little barks and noises when I play (it's all part of me learning and it's all done from a happy place. I also can be very dramatic if the baby gate keeps me from my foster mum or the shower glass door - we are working on it, and she normally mutters something about FOMO (Fear of missing out). I do get sidetracked and go off and do my thing, but it can be dramatic for a moment but as I am a puppy this is something that as I settle in my home, grow, I will calm down.
I have not had any lead training yet as I’m still having my vaccinations, but my foster mum puts the leads on me in the house and it doesn't bother me.
I am a typical lap dog so that means I’m looking for a lap that is home more often than not, someone who can take the time to sit down and let me have a snooze on them or near them and definitely a home with another dog to play with and socialise with.
I am still a pup, so my foster mum has mentioned something about me being a kleptomaniac sometimes - but hey I'm a pup and just still learning.
I wouldn’t enjoy being home alone for 8+ hours a day without humans. My foster mum says I am not a fan of spending time by myself unless I choose too.
I am fine with cats and would probably try and make friends with them as everyone should love me (at least I think they should)
I am working on my house training and my foster mum says we are about 90% there. My foster mum does take me outside of a morning and reminds me it's piddle time!
You have probably seen in my photos I have beautiful curls (my foster mum says girls pay good money for that) but I have had what the rescue calls a hygiene groom but as I grow up, I will definitely need grooming as an ongoing part of my life so please remember that will be a lifetime commitment.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.

Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
