Hi! I'm Hunter and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: I came to the shelter only understanding Korean language. I am getting used to English but I need to be allowed to take my time in learning this new language for my doggie commands.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Hunter until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Hunter in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• The first thing you need to know about me is that I love some people straight away but for others I may take a long time to warm up to them and will bark at them until I'm confortable with them.
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A patient family who'll allow me to get used to lots of new people in my own time (this may take awhile).
• I can't go to a home with another dog as I continuously bark at them, however I need a family who will spend time socialising me with lots of dogs in a controlled environment.
• Secure Fencing
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation - I LOVE playing fetch
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No young children as I can take awhile to warm up to new people and little children may be too much for me. Older children who understand to give me some space and will play fetch with me should be ok.
• No other dogs - I constantly bark at other dogs, so I need socialising with me.

My best features:
• Very playful once I get used to you - I love playing fetch
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans, once I get to know you.
• I walk well on lead
• I appear housetrained
