About Paris & Toulouse
Hi all, Rosie here, I'm the cat Adoption coordinator here at Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital :) Let me introduce you to this very special pair.
Beautiful Paris is just the most amazing mum. She came to us after being rescued from a cat hoarding situation. She has never known a life other than constantly having litter after litter, struggling to have any sort of a life for herself. She has lived mostly in an overgrown garden with over 30 other cats. It's now time for her to have the beautiful life that she deserves.
Paris has stayed in the peace and comfort of my spare room for the last 5 weeks while she raises her 5 gorgeous kittens. She has truly made her mark on my heart; I haven't fallen in love with a cat the way I have with her in over 7 years! It's hard not to fall in love when you foster.
Unfortunately, I can't keep her though. My existing senior cat is not willing to share me or her home with another cat! I have decided to keep Paris and her tiniest, shyest little daughter, Toulouse, together as a bonded pair. They are very close, and Toulouse relies on her mum for comfort and security.
Paris is a gorgeous domestic medium hair, approximately 5 years old, with the most stunning bushy tail and a coat that will really blossom now that she never has to cope with the stress and malnutrition of constant litters ever again. She is super friendly and affectionate. She spends so much time on my lap, and she's just so easy and gentle. She is so happy in my spare room and has shown no interest in trying to get out- so she'd very much suited to the apartment life. She is pure white with a very pink nose and pink ears- so being indoor only is absolutely non-negotiable for her and Toulouse. They are a huge skin cancer risk outside.
Her daughter, Toulouse is shy to begin with, she has always been the shyest of the litter. She is now 9 weeks old, and has bonded with me and learnt to purr when I pat her, she loves playing with toys (including her mummy's tail!) and she just loves company in general. She's really improved with being held and now feels much safer in my arms. She has stunning blue eyes, a little grey blaze on her forehead, and a beautiful white coat that will be medium- haired with a bushy tail like her mum.
These two are the perfect pair. They must go to an indoor only home. If you need convincing- please read here about squamous cell carcinoma in cats.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
