About Bruce
Introducing Bruce!…..
Bruce is the most precious, floppy eared boy who leaves a mark on everyone he meets! The most loveable teddy bear with a big waggly tail who is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place, when with the right people.
He LOVES adventure and comes to life when out and about; he is the perfect passenger in the car and an absolute pleasure to walk on lead. He likes to socialise with other dogs when out, but can be quite timid around some people to begin with.
He also does not understand personal space and will always want to be with you! A real love bug when he learns to trust you :)
Bruce is a very special boy who sadly has been through some awfully challenging times.
His new family will need to be incredibly patient and willing to give him nothing but the best.
He is currently underweight and will require someone who is committed to working with us to getting Bruce back to full weight and health. (You will have full rescue support in doing this)
There are a number of non-negotiable’s when it comes to rehoming Bruce and whilst we understand that many people have a beautiful, friendly dog at home already…..we will not be considering any home where Bruce does not have all the love and snuggle time to himself.
If you are the very special person who can offer him the best of the best; be patient and grow with him; socialise and play with him; cuddle him on the couch; continue to nurture his return to full health; and give him a love like he has never experienced before…..then we want to hear from you!
Adoption details
VBTR places all dogs in a foster care agreement, before moving forward on adoptions. All foster applications received will be assessed and those that meet the needs of the dog will have house & suitability checks. From there, approved applicants will have the opportunity to foster with a view to adopt. Most go onto be ‘foster fails’ and adopt these beautiful bullies. VBTR work tirelessly to ensure successful foster to adopt placements for the benefit of both dogs and humans alike! Bully Buddies are assigned to every dog support this process.
