About Smooch
Please meet adorable “SMOOCH”
He hasn’t had an easy time of things, and we guess you could say has already used up a few of his 9 lives. Smooch was previously an outdoor cat and ran into a few nasties in the outdoor world. First being dogs (he sustained a hip injury from that incident) which was left untreated and had to self-heal. Second being cars (unfortunately lost a leg to that one). He is a trooper though and takes it all in his stride. These days Smooch has a NO outdoors policy which we are happy to report has thankfully kept him safe.
Smooch gets around great and its surprising how quick he can be when its time for dinner (he does like his food). He has adapted to indoor life beautifully, he is litter trained, adores attention, will follow you from room to room and loves to curl up on the couch next to you each night for tv time. He still loves to play with toys and lives for anything sweet as a treat, of course NOT fond of dogs (or cars) he will tolerate another cat that is NOT dominating (guess he is scared of losing another life and we don't blame him)
We are looking for a person with a loving heart to dote on this gorgeous man for the rest of his days. Please help this boy enjoy love and safety in your loving home.

Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
