About Colin
Colin was rescued from a crowded country pound. Now that he's safe, he is craving his forever home where he can be adored as much as he will adore his family.
🚗🏡 Colin is a super affectionate boy who loves company; he'd never tire of you patting and cuddling him and he always greets you with a wagging tail and beaming face. Because he loves meeting new people and is an easy traveller in the car, he'll want to be included in your outings, errands and adventures.
🌟🔥Colin is a very handsome boy. He has soft fur, doggie eyeliner, and a striking rust and cream coloured coat.
🧠🐶 Working-dog smarts: Colin has working-dog intelligence, meaning he will thrive on the mental stimulation of training and games and absolutely has the potential to be a very well-trained and obedient dog. He does already have good manners with sits and taking food gently. He is an enthusiastic and active boy but he doesn't need hours upon hours of exercise; he really enjoys a good sniff of new smells and can be walked by a fit volunteer at the rescue who is in her early 70s.
🐕 Colin has lived with countless other dogs at the rescue for months and months - he is a social butterfly and loves to play with other dogs. However, he may not always get the memo that not everyone wants to be best friends or play constantly, so we'd advise that his family supervises his play with other dogs in a safe way (e.g. no unruly dog parks).
🐱 Nothing too tiny: Colin's shown a bit too much interest in cats, chickens and ducks, so a home without small animals would be best for everyone's peace of mind.
🏠 Colin just needs attention and time from a dog-experienced family willing to invest in him and offer him permanency, love, and healthy stimulation. In return, you will have the most loyal best mate who will adore you and be by your side for life.
