About Mila
Must go to a home with at least one young, friendly, playful and well-adjusted dog, no exceptions.
Mila's foster family says she is funny, sweet and a true joy to be around. She is guaranteed to win the hearts of those who choose to welcome her into their hearts and homes. Mila is a kind and social pup who gets on well with her carer's other small dogs and cats. Mila can come across a bit shy to start, however with a little bit of time to come around, she is very affectionate, cuddly, loving and a bit cheeky at times in your typical puppy way.
As Mila is still only young and still in the early stages of her life, she would be best suited to a home where her new family is not away for long periods and has the time to continue and be committed to her ongoing training using only force-free reward-based methods, and a mixture of mental stimulation, training and exercise.
Mila is working hard on her house training, and this is going well, she is even learning how to get through the doggy door:) Her new family must understand that their home will be a new environment for her so there will be still a bit to of work to do and will need to be committed to continuing her training in this area. Advice can be given if needed. Like all of our dogs, Mila must have access inside at all times.
We are looking for a home where Mila will get out and about on daily walks, adventures and one which will include her in their lives as much as possible.
Mila would be suited to a home with children over the age of about 10, provided they were kind, gentle and respectful of animals.
Mila's coat so far appears to be non-shedding, but we cannot guarantee this will always be the case. She will need regular brushing to keep her coat neat and ensure that it does not get matted. Her coat may need professional grooming from time to time to keep it in tip top condition.
If you would like to meet Mila, please send us an email to sasrescue@gmail.com with the information requested at the start of this profile so that we may see if you and Mila are a good match
Medical notes
The adoption fee includes vet checks, microchip, vaccinations and desexing. Mila is too young to be desexed at this time and her new owner must be able to return Mila to our vet in Beverly Hills Sydney for her third and final vaccination in about 2 weeks' time and desexing at around 6 months of age
Adoption details
SAS will arrange a "meet and greet" with our rescue pet and we offer a two week trial period if we feel that the rescue pet and the prospective family are well matched.
Most interviews will be held in the St George area of Sydney (Kingsgrove or Sans Souci)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
