About Blossom - Located in Kew
Hi there! I'm Blossom, the most adventurous little furball you'll ever meet! With my whiskers twitching and tail held high, I'm always ready to dive headfirst into new explorations.
Life with me is like a non-stop adventure! Whether it's chasing after a feather toy or pouncing on shadows, there's never a dull moment when I'm around. I'm the master of mischief, always finding new ways to entertain myself and my favorite humans.
But don't let my playful nature fool you - I've got a heart as soft as the fluffiest pillow. When the sun starts to set and the day's adventures come to an end, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up with my humans or my furry friends.
Speaking of furry friends, I'm a social butterfly who gets along swimmingly with other playful cats and even gentle dogs! With a slow and patient introduction, I'm sure to make fast friends with any new companions who come my way. And if you're looking for double the fun, my sister Bubbles is always by my side, ready to join in on the adventure.
So if you're seeking a mischievous little explorer with a heart of gold, look no further than me, Blossom! Together, we'll embark on the greatest adventure of all - the journey of companionship and love.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
