NAME: Lemmy

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound.

PERSONALITY: Lemmy was very shy initially but is blossoming in foster care. He’s a reserved boy who doesn’t give his love easily, but has enormous potential if he’s given time and patience in his new home.

FAVOURITE THINGS: Other cats and playtime! Lemmy loves to be around other cats to give him comfort and reassurance and will happily snuggle up with them for a snooze. He loves to play with his toy mice and will throw them into the air and catch them.

ENDEARING FEATURES: Those beautiful blue eyes!

OTHER ANIMALS/INFORMATION: Lemmy would love to live with another friendly cat. He’s uncomfortable and timid around dogs so we would prefer a cat-only home for him. He is litter trained and very clean.

ESSENTIALS for Lemmy:

** A quiet, loving home where he’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. He would go best in either an adult-only home or with older children due to his shyness.

** Lemmy needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

ADOPTION FEE – $335

Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
