On Hold
About Dahlie - 8 Week Old Cattle Dog X (Trial)
Intelligent and cuddly.
Meet Dahlie, a smart curious puppy who likes to explore and cuddle in equal measure. A bright puppy, she is eager to learn new things so should be a breeze to train. Dahlie is 8 weeks old (as at 29/3/24). She’s quite a mixed breed, and although she looks nothing like her, her mum is a very petite Cattle dog! Dad is a complete mystery.
Dahlie would thrive in a loving home that appreciates her intelligence and adventurous spirit. Ideally there will be another older dog for company and to teach her good doggie manners. She’d also love to be in a family where she can have lots of stimulation and activities to keep her mind busy. She would thrive on enrichment games.
Dahlie has been crate trained, and will quietly sleep through the night alongside her foster brothers. She has learnt how to use the doggie door, and stairs. She has started toilet training but her new family will need consistency and patience until she masters it.
Dahlie is looking for a forever family who will cherish her cleverness, shower her with affection and embark on exciting adventures together.
Dahlie’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Dahlie is in foster care in Anna Bay, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
To apply to meet Dahlie, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
