About Jethro - 8 Week Old Cattle Dog X (Trial)
My little charmer.
Meet Jethro, an adorable little guy who is always ready to explore the world around him. Jethro is 8 weeks old (as at 29/3/24). He’s quite a mixed breed, and although he looks nothing like her, his mum was a Cattle dog! Dad is a complete mystery. Jethro is a delightful puppy who embodies the perfect blend of chill vibes and people pleasing charm. He is a laid back pup who finds joy in simply being by your side and making you happy.
Jethro has a calm and gentle demeanour that instantly puts people at ease. He is happiest when he is snuggled up next to you. As a natural people pleaser, he’s always eager to please and make his humans smile. He is content as long as he is included as part of the family
Jethro will thrive on a consistent routine, daily walks and plenty of cuddle time with his family. He loves playing in the yard with his toys and exploring every nook and cranny. Consistent training and socialisation will be important to help Jethro grow into a well-rounded companion.
Jethro has been crate trained, and will quietly sleep through the night alongside his foster sister and brother. He has learnt how to use the doggie door, and stairs. He has started toilet training but his new family will need consistency and patience until he masters it.
If you’re searching for a chilled and loving companion, Jethro could be your perfect match.
Jethro’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Jethro is in foster care in Anna Bay, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
To apply to meet Jethro, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
