About Flash
FLASH – Beautiful Maltese
Rescued locally as his own could no longer look after him.
Introducing lovely Flash. He is a very cute male Maltese who is approximately 5 years old. He is a very sensitive and loving young boy who has been quite secluded during his life. He is still learning how to walk on a lead as he has never been out and about. He was not used to being picked up but has definitely improved with that.
He is very sweet and cuddly, but can be very nervous and fearful. He loves your company and will follow you around the house. He loves pats and belly rubs and to crawl on your lap and watch tv with you on the lounge.
He needs a home with an older lady or couple. You will need to be very patient with him as he will take time to decompress and settle in. Your patience will be rewarded with his devotion.
He has never shown any aggression to anyone, but children may frighten him. Which is why I suggest an older lady or couple. He spent the first five years of his life with an elderly lady and had the run of the house. He had no training whatsoever, but is capable of learning as long as you are patient.
He is definitely an indoor dog as he is quite small (only 6kg) and has always been inside. His toilet training is a work in progress, but he is learning and improving every day. At present he has a doggy door to the outside. He has almost mastered pushing it open.
He is a wonderful companion dog for an older lady or couple as he is past the puppy stage but is still playful and active. He has a lot of life to live and a lot of love to give. Beautiful Little Flash deserves the best home with a kind, patient and loving owner.

On coming into care Flash has been desexed and had a dental where he lost 13 teeth .
He is also vaccinated now.

If the meet and greet goes well and your home is deemed suitable, we'll ask you to sign an adoption agreement. This document outlines the responsibilities of both parties and serves as a commitment to providing a loving and forever home to the adopted pet.
5. Adoption Fee:
An adoption fee is required to help cover the costs associated with the animal's rescue, medical care, and rehabilitation. The fee varies depending on the age, breed, and medical history of the animal but typically includes vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping.
6. Take Your New Family Member Home:
Congratulations! Once the adoption process is complete and the adoption fee is paid, you can take your new furry family member home. Our team will provide you with all the necessary information, including medical records, feeding guidelines, and tips for a smooth transition.
7. Follow-Up Support:
