About Hazel
🌿 Meet Hazel – Our Tortie Queen 👑
🐾 Female | Tortie | Born 2023
Microchip No.: 991003002437364
📍 Kellyvillle
Hazel’s story is a tough one 💔— found all alone, frightened, and heartbreakingly tied to a tree by her tail. She’s been through so much for such a young girl, but despite it all, she’s got the softest little soul… just on her own terms 💕
She’s not a lap cat 🛋️, but she’ll stroll up with a gentle _meow_ 🐱, rub against your legs for a hello, and then dramatically roll over for some sunny dirt time ☀️😄 (tortie sass 100%).
Hazel LOVES:
🎾 Chasing mini bouncy balls
🦟 Catching bugs (better than fly spray!)
☀️ Napping in sunbeams like the royalty she is
Her tail sadly didn’t survive the trauma she went through 😢, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She's skittish and not a fan of being picked up — it makes her panic. Because of this, she’s best suited to a quiet, child-free home where she can feel safe, loved, and never rushed 🛏️🧡
Hazel would thrive with someone who doesn’t expect instant cuddles but will be patient as she slowly builds trust. She's low-maintenance and absolutely adorable once she settles in — a true little companion for the right person 🌸
✨ Let Hazel be your sunshine, bug catcher, and beautiful tortie queen.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
