Sparrow and his littermates were born in a tree! It was the best place a poor Mumma on the streets could find to have her kittens. Sparrow is a loving, funny companion and likes to wrestle and play with his foster friends. Sparrow is a bit of a mummy's boy and still likes being carried around like a baby or being draped on your neck while you go about your routine. He will gaze into your eyes showing you his love, and follow you around for company. He loves to sleep up close to you.
He does sneeze sometimes but the vet assures us he will grow out of this ans it's not contagious.
Sparrow is a special boy who will give you and your family his endless love.
* If you have pets in your home, a reminder that meeting new dogs and cats can be scary for a kitten, so a slow and gradual introduction is a must.
* Please apply by completing the SAFE application form from our website or the link above.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first F3 vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
When adopting a kitten under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey
Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, Halls Head
Caryn Vet Hospital, Edgewater
Kingsley Veterinary Hospital, Kingsley
South Metropolitan TAFE Vet Clinic, Bentley (during semester)
Swan Veterinary Hospital, Midvale
