Meet Pickle, an 18-week-old Cattle Dog cross Staffy with a heart of gold and boundless energy. Confident, sweet, and affectionate,
With his high drive and eagerness to learn, Pickle is well-suited to an active lifestyle with owners who are knowledgeable about his breed mix. While he adores people of all ages, it’s important for his new family to be aware of typical traits of Cattle Dogs (Heelers) and to engage in proper socialization and training, especially with children.
While Pickle is social and playful with other dogs, potential resource guarding behaviors over toys indicate that he may do best as the only dog in the home for now. Structured and appropriate dog-to-dog socialization is key for Pickle’s development, and enrolling him in puppy school will provide valuable guidance and support.
Despite his young age, Pickle walks well on a leash and delights in interactive play with toys. He’s a self-entertainer who thrives on mental and physical stimulation.
If you’re ready to welcome Pickle into your family and provide him with the love. Pickle is eagerly awaiting the chance to find his forever home and become your loyal and spirited companion.
