About Banana
Banana is not your ordinary tabby cat; she's a furry bundle of joy on a mission to find her purr-fect companion, her beloved B2. At just one year old, Banana has already mastered the art of stealing hearts with her shy yet endearing demeanor.
Initially reserved, Banana takes a little time to get comfortable but soon blossoms into a loving and affectionate feline friend. Her warm and gentle nature makes her a favorite among those who have the pleasure of meeting her. Once she feels at home, Banana is quick to show her playful side, chasing after toys with enthusiasm and curiosity.
What sets Banana apart is her love for cuddles. She adores snuggling up on your knee or nestling beside you on the couch, basking in the warmth of companionship. Come bedtime, Banana is the ultimate sleep buddy, dreaming of sharing your pillow and whispering sweet purrs into the night.
Banana's search for her B2 is fueled by her desire for a forever home filled with love, warmth, and endless cuddles. Her cat-friendly nature makes her an ideal companion for households with other feline friends, as she enjoys socializing and making new connections.
With her charming personality and affectionate nature, Banana is sure to win over the hearts of anyone lucky enough to welcome her into their family. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this sweet tabby searching for her special someone?
To book a meet and greet with Banana please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
