About Rubie
Introducing the calm, intelligent and sensible Rubie! This friendly, soft girl is a mix of mini poodle and cocker spaniel, who loves nothing more than a cuddle or rub of her big floppy ears! She’s just an absolute joy to have around.
Despite her age, Rubie has a very calm, quiet and sociable temperament. Her manners are impeccable- walking quietly on the lead and she’d never dream of jumping up or being rough! Although not tested, we are confident she wouldn't take issue with cats or pocket pets. Rubie ADORES children and dogs of all sizes.
Rubie’s size is tricky to explain.. she’s short but hefty. Her body is long. She’s robust, but still a great size for an apartment or unit.
While Rubie is always up for a walk, she really enjoys the water and would LOVE a beach, river or lake she could visit fairly regularly! Rubie is very easygoing and quite the lounge lizard- meaning you get to set the exercise schedule.
Rubie is fully toilet trained and accustomed to living inside. We’re pretty sure she has the nouse to navigate a pet flap in a jiffy too! She’s very respectful of furniture and belongings, having no interest in chewing or being destructive.
She can also be left at home (with another dog for company) during work hours and her recall is on point.
This sweet girl would be a well-suited new addition to a family or individual that can provide her with the love, attention and cuddles she cherishes so much. She's currently housed in Orange, NSW, and has honestly been a dream to foster.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Rubie.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
