About Harrison
Hi There!
I'm Harrison just one of the cute babies at wat djerring Animal Facility currently looking for my furever home. There's a wide variety of us hanging out here waiting to meet our new families 😊
We are aged from 8 weeks upwards. We all come with different personalities - some of us will be adventurous and brave - getting into mischief whenever we can, others maybe more couch potatoes and just want a snuggle, and some of us may be a little shy and timid as we get to know that people and the big wide world isn't so bad. But all of us love to play with toys and are looking for our furever peoples.
As we are so young our personalities are still developing, and we will shine more in a stable home environment.
We may take a few days - weeks to adjust to a home environment so please be patient with us, to make the transition a little easier on us - a safe room where we can get use to all the sounds and smells of our new environment is a must. We would also love a scratching post, a snuggly bed, soft toys and most importantly - toys that roll and have bells in them (they are our favourites)!!
As we are so little, we need to be strictly indoors, now more than ever due to the unfortunate cat vaccine shortage that has affected the whole globe. We will need a course of vaccines (the facility will provide one free-of-charge - once they are back in stock) to help build up our immunity. The best thing for us currently is to be kept indoors. When we have had our full course of vaccines we would love to be able to spend time outside in a secure cat enclosure or backyard.
We are of the perfect age to get use to grooming, carry cages, walking on harnesses and wearing collars, formal handling etc, so lots of practice at this age is a must as it will help us to be not so worried about those things further on in life.
Did you know that cats are able to learn just like a dog can? We can learn commands of sit, shake, paw etc just like a dog. Why not use our curious kitten nature to spend time teaching us some tricks we can do to show off to your family and friends. Plus keeping our minds stimulated also helps us to burn up some energy.
If you'd like to meet me or one of my friends, you are welcome to fill out an application form or pop down to meet us (please note without an appointment if the facility is busy you may need to wait)
