About Fawna
If you are interested in Fawna, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/3bTG6XWQv49RPxJV6
Will you be Fawna’s friend?
Fawna is shy and is looking for someone who can build her confidence and make the world a little less scary.
Fawna learns quickly, and has learnt the dog door and toilet training with ease. Her impressive record of zero toilet accidents inside is proof of this! Fawna also knows her name and has excellent recall.
While Fawna will come for a pat when you call her, she doesn’t seek affection and attention as she is incredibly independent.
Fawna has slowly come out of her shell in foster care, and this will continue to be a work in progress.
Fawna has been living with 3 other dogs (1 large and 2 medium). While she isn’t attached to the other dogs, she is more confident when they are around.
On walks Fawna is respectful, but will sometimes startle by passing cars or barking dogs.
Fawna can get overwhelmed by loud sounds and quick actions. In foster care we have been desensitising her and exposing her to as much as possible, however she can still be jumpy or skittish at times.
Fawna is ready to find her very own forever home! Will it be with you?
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
