About Doc - 10 Month Old Staffy X
Hi I’m Doc and I’m on the lookout for my new forever family.
A little about me:
• I’m a confident 10 month old mixed staffy pup and I love nothing more than snuggling up with my humans on the couch after a long day
• I’m about 17kg and they think I have finished growing, so I fit perfectly on your lap
• I can get excited and jump/mouth at new human friends but I’m still young and learning the ropes. My foster fur sister Lily is by my side helping me learn how to dog since I broke out of the pound
• I do like other dogs but can get a bit excited and bark when we see other dogs out for a walk. I am learning and my foster mum says I am getting better on the lead every time we go out
• I loooooove treats which is helpful for training. I know my name, can sit and am learning to stay and come. Oh and did I say I’m a really good boy and haven’t had an accident in the house? Not even once. I know to ask to go outside
• I do love my chew toys!
A little about you:
• I would love to be part of my human’s world so access to inside and outside of the house would be where it’s at
• No small children. I am still learning my size and I wouldn’t like to accidentally knock them over
• A calm confident dog would help me continue to learn and keep me company. However I could also be an only dog if my humans didn’t work super long hours. I might bark if I get too lonely
• I haven’t been tested with cats or pocket pets. However my foster mum thinks a home without would be best
• Experience with my breed would be preferable, however not essential.
• Someone who is dog savvy and committed to teaching and training me is what I need
• In return I will give you all the cuddles and licks you want
To register your interest in adopting Doc you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
