About Plankton
*In foster care in Stanmore, Sydney*
Plankton is one of the most confident foster kittens his carer has ever met. He is bold and unafraid of most things, charging headfirst into situations without a care in the world! Although he looks a little different Plankton is a normal healthy kitten that lives life to the fullest, climbing to the top of the highest cat tower with ease, playing and navigating his world with joy and wonder.
Plankton was born different with some congenital abnormalities. He never developed his left eye and has a cleft lip with some shifted teeth. His abnormalities are completely cosmetic and Plankton lives a happy life unaffected by them.
Plankton is also in love with his people and animal friends and seeks out the company of both. He loves playing with his foster sister Padme (https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1032549) and the resident cats. He even likes the dogs! He loves a good pat and will come find your lap or the crook of your arm for a snuggle, his little one eye and permanent smile looking adoring up at you as he purrs away.
To keep him safe, Plankton would best suit an indoor only home or a home that would practice safe outdoor access only such as harness training.
Plankton is a total one of a kind. A fun and bold kitten who lives life to the fullest! Could he be your new best friend? Maybe even sweetie Padme (https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1032549) can come home with you too?
Like all Maggie's pets, Plankton is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Plankton is a confident kitten who would suit most homes and is good with cats, dogs and will be fine with kids. He would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than not and has a friendly cat for him to play with (or check out my sister Padme!). Plankton will need animal friends to keep him from becoming too needy on his people.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten - needs a cat buddy to entertain him otherwise he gets into mischief.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Although not currently living with children, Plankton is a confident and adjustable kitten who will adapt to most homes so long as the kids are respectful of his space.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Good with both! Currently Plankton lives with his bestie Padme plus 3 resident cats as well as 2 dogs. He is fearless though so needs animals that are tolerant of his enthusiasm. A home with another cat would be preferenced or one looking to bring home Padme as well.
Medical notes
Plankton's deformities have been checked by a specialist and declared cosmetic only. As his adult teeth come in, there is a chance he may need some removed if they cause damage to the gums due to the misalignment of the jaw in the cleft.
Plankton has a grade 2 heart murmur that has been cleared by a specialist cardiologist as of no concern and does not require further treatment or investigation.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
