Horton

Horton is one gorgeous man who has bonded with his foster carer instantly! horton always keeps his carer in sight and stares lovingly into her eyes. He is a super confident boy with a beautiful black silky coat and a wonderful expressive face. Horton loves nothing more than curling up on his foster carer's lap at night going into a deep sleep and snoring peacefully. He always enjoys himself on his daily trips to the park and gets along with every dog that he meets there and playing endlessly with his doggy friends. Horton is pretty keen to let the humans at the park know that he is available for pats and cuddles also. He has a very gentle spirit and would suit a family who have another pug for company (pugs do love other pugs!) and, as he does love human company, a home where his humans are not out at work everyday would be the best. Horton is learning to follow commands and, although he can sometimes be a bit cheeky, he is usually eager to please. Horton has a low maintenance coat and willingly sits still while having his bath and brush. Typical of all pugs, horton's face folds will require cleaning every few days. Horton is the ideal traveller and jumps into the car as soon as the door is opened then sits still on his seat for the entire journey! he really is one amazing dog!!! horton has been an outside dog for his entire life but those days have gone and horton must always have access to the house via a doggy door or similar. Due to his previous life as an outside dog, horton was not house trained when he came into care but his foster carer is working hard on this and we expect horton to have it down pat very quickly. Horton comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. If you would like more information on horton or to arrange to meet him, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
