About Maverick - 11 Week Old German Shepherd X (Trial)
MAVERICK is an 11 week old, male German Shepherd cross Kelpie puppy.
MAVERICK is playful, sweet natured and full of puppy energy who loves nothing more than to shower you with lots of love, kisses and cuddles and enjoys pats and belly rubs. MAVERICK enjoys playing with toys and his furry companions and shares his foster home with another puppy and medium sized dog. MAVERICK is a quick learner and is already using the doggy door with ease and sleeps through the night in his crate.
An owner willing to commit to ongoing training with MAVERICK will ensure that he has the best start to life.
MAVERICK is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He is friendly with dogs. He shared his foster home with another puppy and medium sized dog as well as a cat and he isn’t too bothered by the cat. MAVERICK is also extremely friendly with people.
MAVERICK will grow up to be a medium to large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for MAVERICK. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time until MAVERICK is older.
MAVERICK needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside as part of his new family. He will be a wonderful and loyal family dog and is suitable for children over 5. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
