This handsome little gentleman is one of the most affectionate and loving cats you will ever meet. He absolutely adores human interaction and would love nothing more than to spend his days curled up on your lap.

He was well loved by his previous owner but they were forced to move north chasing working opportunities and made the tough decision to find Artie a new home rather than stress him out with a long drive up the coast, so he's now on the lookout for that new special forever family.

Artie is very sweet, very affectionate, very gentle and absolutely loves people. He is also very curious and very confident and will step out of the cat carrier straight away and strut around as if he's been living in your home all along.

While he loves being around people Artie is also very mature and independent and enjoys his alone time. Artie loves to find a spot in the sun and will happily snooze there all day, while you're at work, but be ready to give you smooches once you return home. Artie loves his food and this the best way to this little guys heart nis definitely through his stomach.

Artie is also a very gentle soul that does not have a mean bone in his body. He loves having his ears rubbed and will headbutt your hand to let you know it's time for a scratch. He can also be picked up and cuddled when he's in the mood :) This little fella is a super smooch and if you are lucky enough to bring this gorgeous little guy into your household you will have a best friend for life.

Artie is like the solo grandpa that lives on your street. He is sweet and gentle natured and likes to spend time by himself. And while he doesn't want you to know... he secretly loves your attention. He is also a very talkative, particularly at meal time, and will definitely let you know if you're not on schedule. And like a grandpa has a bit of arthritis but this can easily be managed by adding fish oil and glucosamine to his food.

He also makes the most comical facial expressions that will have you in hysterics for hours.

Artie is approximately 7 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
