About Pepper
Meet Pepper,
She is a miniature long haired dachshund.
This sweet young girl is looking for her perfect forever home. But note that she has some quirks that required a specific and patient home.
Pepper is the biggest cuddle bug who loves nothing more than curling up on the couch next to you or on your lap. She also loves scratches and pats.
Pepper particularly loves to go on walks and absolutely loves to play fetch.
Shes got alot of energy and is always bursting at the seams to have a play or go on a walk.
Shes currently living with a standard dachshund, and has previously lived with a large breed dog. While she loved playing chasies with other dogs, she can be a bit unsure of new dogs to start with, and is a little selective with who she wants to be friends with. A meet and greet is a must for her new home.
She'll also need a tolerating doggy friend as she has alot of energy and can overwhelm a more relaxed dog.
Pepper is quite protective of her home, and unsure around new people which causes her to bark and get overwhelmed. We believe this is due to lack of socialising as a young pup.
Her new home will need to be willing to continue her training with this.
Because of this she requires a home with kids over 12 years of age that will understand her ques and know to give her space.
All up Pepper is a gorgeous girl who just needs the right home where she can continue to flourish and learn.
