About Bruce - Located in Ivanhoe
Hey there, potential forever family! I'm Bruce, and let me tell you, I've got it all – the looks, the charm, and a personality that'll light up your life!
First off, let's talk about my dashing appearance. Picture this: sleek tabby stripes that would make any tiger jealous, paired with eyes that practically sparkle with mischief and curiosity. Yep, that's me, Bruce, the epitome of feline finesse.
But it's not just about the looks, oh no. My personality is where I really shine. I'm the definition of playful – always ready for a game of chase or a round of pounce with my siblings. And let me tell you, I'm a pro at acrobatics. You'll be amazed at the flips and twists I can pull off!
Socializing? Oh, I've got that covered too. I've been hanging out with three cool cats and two tiny dogs, and let me tell you, I've charmed them all. Making friends is my specialty, whether they walk on two legs or four.
Now, let's talk about the perks of having me around. You'll never have a dull moment, that's for sure. I'll keep you entertained with my playful antics and endless energy. And when it's cuddle time, I'm a champion purrer – guaranteed to melt away all your stress with just a few contented rumbles.
And hey, if you're thinking about getting not just one, but two kittens – well, you're in luck! I've got a twin sister named Thelma who's just as awesome as me. Double the trouble, double the fun, am I right?
So what are you waiting for? If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and kitty cuddles, then look no further. I'm Bruce, and I'm ready to be your purr-fect companion.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
