About Gaia
Gaia is a beautiful girl, with a gentle calm nature. She can be a bit nervous when she meets new people, but once she loves you, you're the center of her world.
While she's happy to play with toys and rumble with her brother and sister, what she really loves is cuddling up with them or getting head scritches and pats from the humans she loves.
When her and her sister and brothers came to the rescue they were incredible sick. They had terrible cat flu and some of them had ringworm. Their foster mum has carefully nursed them back to health and now they're ready for their forever homes. Because they were so sick, they have been in quarantine in the bathroom in their foster house, but since there are five humans in the house, they get lots of visits and pats. Occasionally the other household fosters have managed to break into their room, but Gaia and her siblings didn't bat an eyelid. They were perfectly happy to let the other cats eat their food and sniff around their area unchallenged.
Gaia would love a quiet household with a human or two she can call her own. She'd be happy to share that human with another kitty friend. Can you give Gaia all the love she craves?

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
