Luna

Little Miss Luna is a 3 year old American bulldog. Princess Luna is a beautiful sweet little lady, she loves nothing more than to please her humans.

Luna hasn't had the best start to life, always outside and hasn't had much exposure to the big wide world. With love and guidance Luna has come a long way since coming into rescue.

Luna thrives on routine and is loving a morning walk where she is learning about the world, before she settles to sleep while her carer is at work. She has learnt to keep checking in on her walk and although the world is new and exciting, she no longer pulls on her lead and walks along happily most of the time. Luna can be reactive when passing other dogs, crying and wanting to see them, she is very food motivated which makes training a lot easier and is getting better with this every day. Luna has learnt to stop and sit at the road and loves to accept treats and praise while walking for being such a good girl. She doesn't let her past stop her.

Luna gets very excited when you get home from work, always a wagging tail. A quick play out the back with her basketball or soft toys helps with this excitement and settles her. She has been co-existing with chickens, while interested in their coop, she is easily redirected away. She is very eager to please and whilst she would love to be patted and given attention to every second that you are home, she is learning when to relax as well.

Luna loves a good cuddle on the couch in the evening, she even knows when she gets her PJs on it's nearly bedtime. She is a great sleeper overnight, hopping onto her bed and not making a sound until morning. Luna is also a good travel buddy, enjoying car trips and adventures!

While Luna is still learning about the world, she needs to be the centre of attention, so she needs to be an only pet. Whilst she loves children, at the moment, no small children as she gets a little too excited and can knock them over.
