About Buster
Not available for interstate adoption apart from the ACT
Profile and needs in a home
Buster is very delicate, and you may think he is thin....well, he certainly is! Buster came to us from the country, but he has made the transition from country boy to city slicker very well. He has even visited a wine bar last weekend and enticed many patrons to give him a cuddle and a little piece of "stinky" cheese!!
Buster is very sweet and gentle, and we think a home where he is the only canine companion would be best. He does love other dogs and will play with them but it is his humans he loves best. He would not like to be left alone for many hours so a family who work from home a lot, or retirees would be great for him. He travels well in the car, especially if he gets to sit on your lap.
Being a fox terrier x Buster will need an active home that can get him about and about on a good walk/run every day. Buster is still only young so his new family will need to be committed to ongoing socialisation and training using only force-free reward based methods, Buster is super smart and eager to please so training is a breeze
Like all of our dogs, Buster must have access inside at all times and be permitted to cuddle on the couch and sleep inside preferably in the bedroom.
If you would like to meet Buster, please send us some information some detail with as much detail on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your dog and any other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often Buster would be alone, where he will have access in the home, where Buster would go if you went away and could not take him with you, ability vet expenses and any other information you wish to provide so that we can see if you and Buster are a good match.
