About Bart - Located in Templestowe
Yo, what's up, party people? I'm Bart, the ultimate bundle of energy and fun! Let me give you the lowdown on what makes me the life of the party.
First off, let's talk about my boundless energy. Oh yeah, I'm like a little tornado of excitement, always ready to jump, run, and play like there's no tomorrow. Whether it's chasing after toys, zooming around the house, or doing acrobatic flips off the furniture, I'm all about living life in the fast lane!
Now, onto my favorite pastime: playing with kids. Oh man, those pint-sized humans are like my kindred spirits. We're like two peas in a pod, causing mischief and mayhem wherever we go. From epic games of tag to building forts out of blankets, there's never a dull moment when I'm hanging out with my little buddies.
But wait, there's more! I've got a little secret that'll knock your socks off: I love joining you in the bath. That's right, when it's time to scrub-a-dub-dub, you can bet I'll be right there, splashing around and making a splash of my own. Who needs rubber duckies when you've got a furry friend like me to keep you company?
And let's not forget about cuddle time. Oh yeah, I'm a sucker for a good snuggle session. Whether it's curling up in your lap for a cozy nap or getting wrapped up in a warm blanket fortress, I'm all about those warm and fuzzy feels.
So there you have it, folks, a glimpse into the world of Bart, the energetic play machine with a heart of gold. Whether I'm tearing up the house with my playful antics, splashing around in the bath, or snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, one thing's for sure: life is never boring when you're hanging out with yours truly!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
