About Milhouse - Located in Templestowe
Hey there, humans! I'm Milhouse, the feisty furball with a heart of gold and a thirst for attention that just can't be quenched. Let me tell you a little something about what makes me, well, me.
First off, let's talk about my affectionate side. Oh yeah, I'm like a little cuddle monster, always craving those snuggles and pets from my favorite humans. But here's the thing: if you're too slow to engage with me, watch out! I've got no time to waste, so I'll just climb up your leg like a tiny, determined mountain climber until you give me the attention I deserve. Hey, a needy kitty's gotta do what a needy kitty's gotta do, am I right?
Now, onto my adventurous spirit. I'm as active and inquisitive as they come, always on the lookout for my next big adventure. Whether it's exploring every nook and cranny of the house or investigating that mysterious shadow in the corner, I'm always up for a little excitement. Life's too short to sit around and do nothing, after all!
But here's the best part: I absolutely adore playing with children of all ages. They've got the energy and enthusiasm to keep up with me, and let me tell you, we make quite the dynamic duo. From chasing after toys to playing hide-and-seek, there's never a dull moment when I'm hanging out with my pint-sized pals.
So there you have it, folks, a glimpse into the world of Milhouse, the needy yet feisty little guy who's always ready for action. Whether I'm demanding attention by climbing up your leg or leading a pack of adventurous kids on a wild expedition, one thing's for sure: life is never boring when you're in the presence of this fearless feline!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
