About Lisa - Located in Templestowe
Hey there, fabulous friends! I'm Lisa, the reigning queen of chill and master of relaxation. Let me give you a little glimpse into my oh-so-charmed life.
First things first, let's talk about my favorite hobby: chasing toys that move. Oh yeah, I'm like a sleek, stealthy ninja on the prowl, except instead of battling bad guys, I'm taking down those pesky little toy mice. It's all in good fun, of course, but let me tell you, I'm a force to be reckoned with when it comes to playtime!
Now, onto my second passion: zooming around the house like a furry little racecar. I've got need for speed, folks, and nothing can stop me when I've got the zoomies. Whether it's a mad dash from one end of the house to the other or a lightning-fast sprint up and down the stairs, I'm always on the move, spreading joy and mischief wherever I go.
But hey, it's not all about action-packed adventures for this cool cat. Oh no, I've also got a knack for keeping my cheeky brothers in line. They may think they're the kings of chaos, but when I give them that stern look, they know it's time to shape up or ship out. Gotta keep the peace in this household, am I right?
And finally, when the day is done and I've had my fill of excitement, you'll find me stretched out on the couch, basking in the afternoon sun for a well-deserved catnap. Or curled up on your lap or shoulder, purring away in your ear.
So there you have it, folks, a day in the life of Lisa, the laid-back yet lovable queen of the household. Whether I'm chasing toys, zooming around like a speed demon, or just lounging on the couch like the pampered princess I am, one thing's for sure: life is pretty purrfect when you're as fabulous as me!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
