About Ned - Located in Templestowe
Hey there, I'm Ned, the coolest fluff ball on the block! Let me give you the lowdown on what makes me, well, me.
First off, let's talk about my bro. Oh yeah, he's my partner in crime when it comes to wrestling. We go at it like two fur-covered ninjas, bouncing off the walls and rolling around like there's no tomorrow. It's like our own version of the kitty Olympics, and I'm always aiming for the gold medal in fluffiness!
Now, onto my favorite pastime: box exploration. You wouldn't believe the adventures I've had in those cardboard fortresses. I'll climb in, peek out, and then BAM! I'm off on a wild expedition to the land of imagination. Sometimes I'll even pretend I'm a fearless explorer, conquering the great unknown one box at a time. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it!
But let's not forget about my secret weapon: my eyes. Oh man, these babies are like magnets for attention. One look into these big, beautiful peepers, and bam! You're under my fluffy spell. I've mastered the art of staring up at humans with those puppy-dog eyes (well, kitty-cat eyes, but you get the idea), and let me tell you, it works like a charm every time. Extra treats? Check. Unlimited cuddles? You got it. I'm basically the king of the house, all thanks to these bad boys.
So there you have it, folks, a glimpse into the life of Ned, the adorable fluff ball with a heart of gold and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Whether I'm wrestling with my bro, exploring the vast wilderness of cardboard boxes, or captivating you with my irresistible gaze, one thing's for sure: you'll never forget the day you met me, the one and only Ned!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
