About Sadie
RESCUE ADOPTION-ILLAWARRA
๐๐พ๐๐พ๐SADIE๐๐พ๐๐พ๐
Our beautiful goofball Sadie is looking for her forever crew that is all about good vibes and good times.
Sadie is a lovable larger than life girly who loves couch naps, beach, water and snacks. She is still a playful puppy at nearly 6 months old and everything is exciting...every day is Christmas morning in Sadie's world
Sadie is a Catahoula x pupper who is intelligent, affectionate, goofy and courageous all in one. Sadie can also be very chill and sleep on the couch or on you like the rest of the world does not exist Her foster humans Renee and Dave have taken turns being her sleep bed for random snoozes.
Sadie loves playing and running around. She loves to play with her foster bestie Benny and Kitty and going for walkies. She has been exploring local beaches and parks and loves a good Bunnings trip. She is an amazing little girl who makes a wonderful adventure buddy during the day and a couch potato at night. She will steal your heart and your couch (and possibly your man)
Her personality is grand and she is a confident little queen. We would love for her to have a fur sibling but can also be an only fur kid with lots of fur friends to visit. We are not sure how Sadie is with cats and pocket pets but with proper training and introduction it is possible that she can live with them. Sadie has been around kids and will happily share and by share we mean steal kids toys ๐งธ
To keep her safe, Sadie requires minimum 1.8m fencing and humans committed to helping her be the best girl. Sadie is expected to be a medium to large dog between 21-30kgs. Itโs likely she will the model typeโฆall legs and skinny ๐
If you think you can offer a happy and stable home for this stunning girl please contact us for an application form
Breed: Catahoula x
Adoption fee: $400
Desexed: by rescue at appropriate age
Location: Illawarra (sorry no interstate adoption)
Sadie comes vaccinated, flea, tick and worm treated
Presenting Sadie, our lovable and larger-than-life furry friend who is all about good vibes and good times. Sadie is a talented young blend of Catahoula, known for her affectionate, goofy, and courageous nature. With her vivacious personality and unmistakably playful demeanor, Sadie makes every day feel like a holiday.
A beautiful goofball with an adventurous spirit, Sadie is just shy of 6 months old and full of youthful exuberance. She loves exploring local beaches and parks, as well as chasing after balls and running around with her canine pals. Despite her love for adventures and play, Sadie also knows when it's time to unwind and is more than happy to snooze away on the couch or on your lap.
However, don't be fooled by her chill demeanor. Give her a toy or a sand pit, and her eyes will light up in ecstacy. It's like Christmas morning every day for this adorable pup! She loves being with people and going out โ water parks, dog-friendly forests, and even shopping trips to Bunnings.
Sadie is quite a sociable pooch and benefits from having doggy companions around, making her an ideal playmate. Although she hasn't been around cats or pocket pets before, she is a smart girl who is adaptable and eager to learn.
To ensure her safety, her new home should have a minimum 1.8m fencing and humans that are committed to helping her reach her potential. Expected to reach a medium-to-large size of 21-30kgs, Sadie stands tall, remarkably graceful in her gangly young age.
In sum, Sadie is as lovable as she is lively, bestowing a whole new vigor to life. Whether it's an adventure, a play session, or simply a quiet chill-out evening, Sadie is always pleased to be involved. If you believe you can offer this stunning girl a happy and stable home, please contact us. Sadie is awaiting her new family in the Illawarra area and comes vaccinated, flea, tick, and worm treated.
Adoption details
We are a small ethical rescue with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs.
Our adoption process is:
1. We receive an enquiry
2. We respond to let you know if you are a good match based on information provided. We encourage detailed enquiries to help match you with the right dog for you and your family.
3. We contact you to set up a phone interview if we determine its a good match
4. We complete the interview and ask for photos of your fences and yard.
5. If our committee determine applicant is suitable for the dog they have applied for we will set up a meet and greet. If you have another dog they will need to be included in the meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along.
6. Once the meet is completed and all parties are happy to proceed, we will arrange a pick up or drop off and applicant commences 14 day trial period. During trial period we ask for frequent updates and provide advice.
7. If trial period is successful we proceed to complete adoption agreement.
8. Within 6-8 weeks applicant receives change of ownership paperwork which they submit to their local council.
We miss our rescues when they go on trial...so please send us a photo every second day at the least.
All puppies and dogs come with vaccinations covered by us until the end of trial period. They will be up to date with Flea, tick, heart worm/ all worm treatments when they commence the trial.
All worming, flea, tick, vaccinations and any vet costs will not be covered by rescue after the trial period unless previously discussed and agreed upon by us (in special circumstances).
We arrange and pay for desexing of puppies when the puppy is old enough to have it done.
Adoption fee is required within one week of final decision being made. (See Deposit details in about section)
Once payment has been processed we will request a photo of our lucky ex rescue/s in their forever home. Preferably with their new family.
This is so we can post our ex Rescue with their new family and share the excitement with our followers, sponsors, and of course us volunteers.
We do understand there are circumstances where this is not preferred/ possible. If so, a nice photo of your new family member would be sufficient
We will then arrange to deliver any Veterinary information/ records & some paperwork for you to complete through your local council. This can be completed either online or in person.
For puppies we will send all ownership paperwork after the pup has been desexed
**Change of ownership and microchip is to be completed by the new owner within 2 weeks of receiving paperwork otherwise fines from the council may be incurred**
Once these steps have been finalised you will officially be Best Friends Forever
