About Brutus
Introducing Brutus!
Brutus is a gorgeous Mastiff x born approx on 14th December 2023.
Brutus was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray & unfortunately no one came in to reclaim him. While we may not know his exact breed, we do know that he is going to be a VERY large boy. His feet are gigantic, his head is already over knee height and at approx 3 1/2 months old he already weighs 14kg.
Since being at the facility Brutus has won the hearts of all the staff & volunteers. He is incredibly sweet, playful, affectionate and simply beautiful inside & out.
Brutus will need an owner who understands that he won't stay little & cute forever and that he will remain a beloved family member when he is fully grown.
Like every pup, Brutus will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure he grows to be a well rounded guy. This will also help ensure that Brutus is well behaved when he is a very large, full-grown adult dog.
He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Brutus will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Being young he is still growing into his personality, but this little guy is a very loving pup who cant wait to find his forever home.
Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along and will be always best buddies. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure that there is no chance of infecting the pups who are currently not up to date with their vaccinations.
Brutus' adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Brutus is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Brutus, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Brutus is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
