About Sizzle
Ok Hold onto your hats guys – its “Sizzle” time.
Seriously hold on tight folks- this little whirlwind is 100 miles an hour and is not for the faint-hearted amongst you.
Sizzle has Dachshund sass,, terrier sass, a whole heap of 10-month-old puppy energy – and a little more sassy energy on top.
He is funny, cheeky, loving, stubborn, playful, energetic, adventurous, and a whole heap of mischief in a pocket-sized package.
He adores other dogs but can get a bit annoying after a while if they decide a rest is in order – rests come in Sizzle's own time, and he likes to call the shots.
Cats – suffice to say they will get the full-on Sizzle treatment, so unless they are built ( very ) well and enjoy a game of chase and tug-o-war – they probably shouldn’t share his space.
He loves to run and play in the yard and toys of any description, adores water play like hose/sprinklers etc – he has an absolute joy and zest for life that is simply contagious.
A real comedian, he brings smiles, laughter and a little mayhem wherever he goes – small dog – huge personality.
When he does settle into his “winddown” time he is such a snuggler.
He adores attention, belly rubs and gives the best cuddles.
Sizzle is not a fan of being alone and is happiest when he is near his people – a home where he is left alone for long periods will not be good for him.
You will never be lonely or feel unloved with a little Sizzle in your world, that is for sure.
His Breed mix lends him to being a bit of a barker – he is an excellent guard dog and will alert you to unwanted visitors.
He will also alert you to wanted visitors, random leaves blowing in the wind, and sometimes simply the fact that he has a bark and wants to use it.
Sizzle is a whole heap of wonderful contradictions, a bit of a wild child with a heart of absolute gold.
He is going to bring so much fun, light, and laughter to the right home.
So if you are full of energy, have a big personality, a heap of time and patience, and a ready for the biggest ( little) love of your life – you have just struck gold.
If you would like to meet Sizzle, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life you could share together.
Sizzle is in foster care at Buderim on the Sunshine Coast and his adoption fee is $725.
He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.

We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
