Miso & Momo – Two Sweet Tabby Sisters Looking for Their Forever Home Together.

Miso and Momo are two beautiful tabby sisters with the gentlest, kindest natures. These soft-hearted girls may take a little time to warm up and trust in a new home due to limited socialization in their early years, but once they feel safe, their lovely personalities truly shine. They are affectionate in their own quiet way and make wonderful, low-maintenance companions who will bring gentle warmth and peaceful joy to a calm household.

They were dearly loved by their previous owner, who had to make the difficult decision to rehome them when work commitments required a long-distance move north. Knowing the journey would be stressful for the girls, he chose to find them a stable, loving new home instead.

In the beginning, Miso and Momo may be shy and prefer to tuck themselves away in a quiet spot (often a wardrobe or cosy corner) as they adjust. They are most active at night during this settling-in period. Once they feel secure, however, you’ll find them happily keeping you gentle company. They love to be near you — sitting quietly by your feet while you work at your desk, watching TV from a nearby spot, or perched at the window observing the world outside. They are observant, peaceful, and content to be close without demanding constant attention.

While these sweet girls are not yet comfortable with being picked up or handled, they have the softest, most endearing temperaments and no trace of aggression. Their beauty lies in their calm presence and quiet affection. With patience and time, many shy cats like them grow in confidence and learn to enjoy gentle interaction on their own terms.

Miso and Momo are ideal low-maintenance companions for a busy professional or someone with a quiet, stable home. They thrive in peaceful environments where they can relax, observe, and slowly build a trusting bond with their person. A home with window perches would make them especially happy!

Both girls are approximately 4.5 years old. They are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with flea and worm treatment. They must be adopted together as a bonded pair.

If you have a calm, patient heart and the space for two gentle souls to blossom in their own time, Miso and Momo would love to become the quiet, loving addition to your home.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
