About Bun-edict Cumberbach
Meet Bun-edict Cumberbach,
Bun-edict is currently available for adoption & looking for a new home!
He can be a little nervous at times, as he is a gentle & shy guy. However despite this he is a comfy bun, who is friendly, curious and engaging.
Bun-edict is a bun who is suitable for first time owners or those with experience. Due to his shy nature, he is best suited to a home that is on the quiet side. He is also open to meet kids of any age! He is looking for a home with a family who is patient and kind.
Bun-edict is a quiet bun, who allows handling & being picked up BUT he does prefer to have all paws on the ground. He loves pats down his back & gentle scratches between his ears.
Bun-edict will need a safe & secure hutch. Somewhere out of the sun with plenty of shade. A place that is comfortable & cool for the warmer months, & warm & cozy for the cooler months.
Bun-edict will also need access to fresh clean water, as assortment of toys to chew on & play with and fresh food daily. Toys don’t have to be expensive, simple newspaper brings so much happiness to Bun as he shreds it with delight… Bun-edict also LOVES hay!
Bun-edict is recently litter trained, but it’s best to show him where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents if you’d like to house train him as it took a little while for him to work it out.
As we cannot test, we are unsure how Bun-edict would go living with dogs or cats – this would be up to the discretion of his new owners. As rabbits are social creatures, Bun-edict would do well living with another rabbit, just make sure that they have a slow introduction.
Can you open your heart and home to a friendly little bun like Bun-edict Cumberbach?
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
