About Dorothy
Dorothy is an incredibly sweet older lady who found herself lost and at GAWS. Dorothy came in with really bad skin and a few other medical issues that saw her scared and sore. Through her time at GAWS she has been on a good quality diet and received great medical care, bringing out a more happy and playful side of Dorothy! She is still learning to show her happy side and so is looking for a patient and understanding owner who can help bring her out of her shell. Dorothy warms quickly to people and has proven to be a very sweet love bug, who may suit older and respectful children. Being 8 she is looking for a quiet retirement home where she can relax in the sun. Dorothy will need ongoing skin care with a regular good quality diet and someone to include her in their everyday life. She is social but can be wary with other dogs so would best suit a home with a calm and social male dog. She has no known history with cats or pocket pets.
