Sage

Sage is an adventurous spirit who is ready for anything. A picture can not capture her beauty, she is athletic, a black and small part white tail, full white body and her ears are black leaking onto the top of her head. Watch the video to see how awesome she is at fetch❣️.

If we could ask Sage to fill the blanks on these statements, this is what she might say....

I love other kittens, cats, dogs, people and doing stuff. I am the only kitten that has learnt to use the cat flap, I run out into the enclosure and chase bugs. Naps on my human's lap.

I have a need to explore, demand doors be opened for me, a novel item to engage with and other kittens to play with.

People would say even though I watch from a distance around new people, if you get a wand toy I will be up on your lap in seconds. My lack of personal space means I often take all the good spots from the other cats and use my people as launching pads in play. I also hide my toys around the house, under the couch, under blankets and in your shoes.

I would rather not sleep, I do rest often as I am a growing kitten but I like to find out what is happening and how to make it fun. I am not confident in the car or going to the vets. I can be held and carried safely but I would prefer to go somewhere fun.

I need a kind person who loves to create new ways to entertain, a person who maybe wants to do training with me, channel my extra energy into games that are building my skills.

When Sage came to us, she and her siblings had been taken away due to health issues. Sage had one weepy eye, but she was super afraid of humans and an indoor life. It took us a few short weeks of play, feeding routines and patience and you would never know her past. She would be great in a home with other playful cats or kittens, she is sociable and interactive. Someone who wants to make her a new toy out of things around the home or train her as she is an eager learner. She has taken her medications easily, a plate with the tablet and some churu on top. Sage wants to be in on the action and needs a person who wants a cat to interact with.
