About Beckie
Beckie's personality:
Say hello to the delightful Beckie! She is approximately 2 and a half years old and we have guessed her breed to be an American Staffy X. Adventurous and curious, with an unstoppable appetite for exploration, Beckie lives life to the fullest and is truly up for any fun activity that comes her way - whether that be playtime with her 'toy of the day' or a walk with her favourite humans!
Beckie is an avid explorer. Whether it's sauntering through the yard, trailing after a good smell in the park, or even sniffing out new scents, this adventurous girl loves to be on the move. Beckie also has an unmatched talent for finding the best spots for belly rubs, which she absolutely adores. There's also nothing quite like seeing those avid tail wags when she's being pampered with pats.
Her affectionate nature shines through the moment you meet her. She has a way of leaning into you for cuddles that will surely melt your heart. This cuddle bug loves walks and takes delight in everything from leisurely strolls around the block to adventurous hikes on scenic trails. She walks wonderfully on a lead, but hold on tight if there's a tempting smell around!!
Additionally, Beckie is well-known for her endearing butt wiggles. She has an unparalleled zeal for these engaging dances that will instantly bring a smile to your face. Beckie's love and enthusiasm are contagious and she will effortlessly make you cherish every moment spent with her.
Beckie's ideal forever home:
She is looking for a home with a family who will provide her with a steady flow of ongoing training, a stable environment, and lots of love. Beckie is more than happy to become an integral part of your family, and she eagerly awaits the chance to embark on many more adventures. Beckie has been through so much and has proven the true meaning of resilience - still trusting and loving of humans and other dogs.
Since she has only been at the rescue for a short time, she has not been introduced to any of the other resident doggies yet while she settles in, but by all accounts she loves other doggies! Introductions to any current furry family members will be essential prior to adoption to ensure the perfect match!
Beckie's story:
Our good friends at ROAR (Remote Outback Animal Rescue) in Cobar, put a call out for help, as they were well over capacity (as we are). But for them, this meant that doggies in their surrounding pounds were going to be euthanaised if they couldn't create some space within their facility urgently. So, Beckie travelled all the way from Cobar to Forster to start her next chapter in life. She understandably took some time to settle in to her new surroundings when she arrived, but has slowly adjusted to her new 'normal' and is now used to the routine of her daily life.
Beckie has previously has multiple litters in her short life. However, no more! With Beckie now being desexed, she will no longer have the hard job of carrying, then caring for an unplanned and (most likely), unwanted litter of puppies.
More about Beckie:
In the right family, Beckie will flourish – her wagging tail and bouncing butt wiggles lighting up your everyday life with joy and warmth. So, if you're looking for an adventurous four-legged family member packed full of love and entertainment, Beckie is the one for you.
Medical notes
Beckie's medical history:
Beckie has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with all preventative parasitic treatments for fleas, ticks and worms. She is the picture of health and as happy as can be!
