✨🐣 EASTER ADOPTION FEE SPECIAL 🐣✨
🌿💐 PRESENTING POPPY 💐🌿
Nature
Poppy is a gorgeous little cat! She was rescued from an unsafe situation and came into care with little exposure to humans, but she quickly adapted to life as a house cat. Poppy is still a little apprehensive and she is cautious when you approach her, but she is very calm when you pick her up and will snuggle into you and purr.
Poppy is sweetest girl, still young, enthusiast, and inquisitive, she is so full of life. Poppy loves game time, she is very playful, just a big kitten really. Poppy really loves to play, she zooms around the house chasing balls and kicking the stuffing out of her mouse toy. She gets on well with the other cats in the household and has ongoing enthusiastic games of chasey and rough and tumble.
Poppy can still be a little shy at times, especially if she feels overwhelmed. She loves pats and head rubs and enjoys human company and cat company. Poppy will need a little time to settle into her new home and feel comfortable enough to open up to you, but as soon as she does, you'll find yourself with a new little shadow.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Poppy will need a family that is willing to give her lots of love, patience and time (it may take a few months for her to get used to you) to build a bit of trust with her, but once you do, the rewards will be her love.
Poppy would be best suited to a quiet household with no small children. Poppy would do well with having a friendly, confident cat to keep her company in her fur-ever home, but they'll need to be introduced slowly to give them the best possible chance of friendship!
Poppy hasn't yet met any dogs, although the neighbour’s dogs bark loudly and it doesn’t faze her at all. So, if your dog is calm and cat friendly, Poppy could probably live with them - though again, slow intros will be crucial!
Likes / Dislikes
Poppy loves pats, a comfy bed, playtime, other cats and cat naps. Poppy is not a big eater; she likes her bickies out so she can snack when she wants during the day.
Poppy dislikes, loud noises, approaching her suddenly and unpredictably.
My PURR-fect home would be nice and quiet, with a loving and mature family with no small children. A loving home where I will be given the time and love to settle, and humans who will understand it may take a few months for me to feel safe in a new home. I’m young and playful and will benefit from a friendly cat companion or a least a home where you are home a lot to play with me and keep me company.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
