About Becky
Becky is a very gentle, quiet ruby Cavoodle (Cavalier x Toy Poodle) girl who would love to find a home where she can truly belong. Her past life didn't lend much opportunity for her to experience life as a pet, which means everything is new and well, naturally a little daunting... however, with patience, kindness and affection she will continue to make inroads and we have no doubt she'll be a loving, loyal companion. Becky doesn't have a mean bone in her body!
Becky is a small dog (approx 5.6kg) and has no issues with other dogs, but can be frightened by large, rough dogs. Although not tested, we are confident she wouldn't take issue with cats, chooks or pocket pets.
Becky has spent the majority of her life raising litters of puppies and as a result has not had a great deal of time on the lead and is currently learning with her foster carer. Her exercise requirements aren't intensive as she's equally happy following you around the house and garden as say resting on her dog bed/the couch. In her previous life, Becky didn't have the opportunity to play with dog toys, so this experience is new to her.
Becky's toileting has been reliable while inside and she sleeps in an indoor/outdoor sunroom with pet flap without making a mess. She is also very happy sleeping in a crate at night and we'd recommend this in her new home too. This will help her settle into her new home and also provide you with a sense of security, knowing exactly where your pet is during the night until you both have a thorough understanding of each other. We've not heard a single woof, yelp or whine from Becky yet.
Being a poodle cross, she would need clipping/grooming in the warmer months to keep her comfortable. There is no need to keep her 'show presentable' unless this is your preference. She has a curly, non-shedding coat.
This sweet, gentle girl would be best suited to a life with the ladies as she finds men intimidating & overwhelming. She does however like children.
If you can offer Becky a kind, loving, patient home please send an enquiry through via Pet Rescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle. She is currently housed in Orange NSW and you can speak to Lindy (carer) on 0400223200 if you have any queries.
Medical notes
Becky has been desexed, is fully vaccinated and is in great health. She has been wormed and treated for both ticks & fleas.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Becky.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
