About Kozy
Get ready to have your heart stolen by one-year-old Kozy, an adorable semi-coat German Shepherd with a twinkle in his eyes and a bounce in his step. Armed with an expressive personality and a tail that wags nonstop, it's impossible to resist his charm.
Kozy is a young energetic dog and is too much for the older dog who has now been diagnosed with arthritis. He wants to play and she isn't interested.
Despite his young age, Kozy has already displayed a keen intelligence, benefitting from basic obedience training. He responds well to commands, making him an excellent companion for adventures, whether that's a day at the park or a lengthy hike. And did we mention that he absolutely adores car rides? Kozy is more than happy to be a passenger and loves watching the world zoom by from the backseat.
Bright and friendly, Kozy has a heart as big as his beautiful brown eyes. He shares his love generously, showering kids and adults alike with lots of licks and cuddles. Another plus? Kozy is super social; he basks in the company of other dogs, making him a fabulous addition to a family that already has a canine companion.
Kozy just loves the outdoors and as much as he loves his playtime though, he equally enjoys his downtime. He knows when it's time to relax and snuggle up on the couch.
If you're looking for a fun-loving, energetic and very 'Kozy' companion, then look no further. This amazing German Shepherd will fill your life with joy and unconditional love. Be warned: Once you meet Kozy, you will not be able to leave without him. He will paw his way into your heart and make an indelible mark.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Kozy. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
If you think you can give Kozy a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Kozy".
Medical notes
Kozy is microchipped and wormed. He will be desexed before going to his new home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
