About Hughie
Hughie is THE sweetest, friendliest and softest natured puppy who would just love to be your bestie for life!
He's a gorgeous mix of Maltese x Cavoodle and being a pup he'll adjust perfectly to your family, home and lifestyle. He's such a happy chappy who loves to trot at your heels and be involved in your day-to-day activities.
Hughie is a great size and will grow to approx 7-9kg as an adult. He LOVES dog friends and people, actually Hughie loves everyone, full stop!! He's not destructive, rough, noisy, nippy or obnoxious.. and Hughie loves to please, so he'll be a gem to train.
Hughie has a lovely black and white, fluffy (non-shedding) coat which means he would benefit form a clip in the warmer months as he gets older. He is in a crate at night with no issues, happily toileting in the morning outside after being let out. He would need some more toilet training to be inside full-time, but he's well on the way and is showing all the right signs.
Hughie is actually an ideal size to be an active family member- small without being pint-sized and limited to indoors, easy to take anywhere, no anti-social behaviours to stress about and just generally hassle free. He won't need a strict or laborious exercise regime either.. out and about with you and following his people around the house or a play in the garden will be plenty.
Hughie wouldn't take issue with cats, chooks, birds or other pocket pets given his breeding and age- he'll quickly learn your routines and expectations. He is fantastic with kids of all ages and not rough or nippy.
>> Please note: Hughie will be available for pick up from the 22/3 due to desexing. He is currently with a foster carer in Orange NSW. If you have any queries, please phone Lindy on 0400223200.
If you can offer Hughie a kind and loving home please send an enquiry through via PetRescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle.
Medical notes
Hughie is in wonderful health, up to date with vaccinations and is booked for desexing on the 22/3.

Please express your interest by sending an email through PetRescue.
Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer a dog.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
Please also let us know where the dog will sleep and if it will be welcomed inside.
