Very shy with strangers to start with
Looking for a companion who's as kind as she is cute? Let me introduce you to Yuko, a delightful Maltese/Shitzu mix! This three-and-a-half year-old female has had all her health checks and standard procedures, and measures in at a perfect pet-sized weight of 6 Kg.
Elegant, refined, and every bit as affectionate as her adorable little button-face suggests, Yuko is a charming companion that could be your new best friend. She's a bit shy with strangers at first but she warms up quickly and will be your constant companion. Her favourite pastimes include gentle play, cuddle sessions, and cozy quiet times during the evening.
While Yuko can be netflix-and-chill buddy indoors, she also naturally takes to both dogs and cats. She's lived harmoniously with two larger cattle/kelpie cross dogs for the last year, showing her flexible social style and friendliness. She does prefer playmates that are relaxed and not too overbearing.
This little lady requires an indoor home that can provide a quiet, calm environment, making her perfect for residences where she can keep you company and only ventures outside for quick bathroom breaks. She hasn't attempted to escape before because she's much happier on a soft rug or plush bed with her humans nearby.
Considering her child-friendly nature, she would love to be part of a family home with gentle older children who can respect her calm demeanour.
Currently located on the Gold Coast, Yuko's adoption fee includes microchipping, desexing, vaccination, and worming.
Yuko is a precious gem of a dog who is longing to become part of a warm, loving family. If you think you could be the right match for this sweet little lady, we can't wait to introduce you!

Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
