Sammy

Sammy is a shy sensitive boy who is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will takes things slowly and at his pace, especially when introducing him to new people and places. Once he knows you, and is more comfortable, Sammy becomes quite playful and cheeky. He would love to be allowed indoors as part of the family and is best suited to a calm home with some structure and routine to help him feel safe. Older children are best for Sammy. Provide a mat, bed or crate for him as his safe space to go to if/when feeling overwhelmed. If Sammy is to live with another dog, he would like to meet her, and all members of his new family at time of adoption. He can be a little tense and worried when first meeting other dogs but quite social once he is able to meet.
