About Jasper SUA012487
Meet Jasper, a stunning senior gentleman. He may be mature in age, but Jasper has a youthful spirit that catches everyone's attention. He carries a sense of grace and charm that reflect his wisdom and love for life.
Jasper is an elegant gentleman and quite an independent spirit. If he captures your heart, you'll find him to be a loving companion who prefers to have his own space and time to himself. However, don't let his initial shy demeanor confuse you. He can be nervous and timid in new environments, but give him a cozy corner to settle in, and he will soon come out of his shell.
True to his independent nature, Jasper carries the title of 'ladies man' with aplomb. He has a slightly more robust affinity for women and would rather snuggle with a lady on the couch in a retreat-like setting.
Jasper's ideal home would be a peaceful one, with a generous dose of routine. A quiet and routine retirement home would be perfect for Jasper. His wants are simple: a full food bowl, a comfortable bed, and his very own human to provide him with undivided attention and love.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
