About Birdie
Birdie is small and sweet; she makes you feel loved and happy....then she nudges your nose with hers and lightly bites it. This is Birdie's love language.
Birdie and her sister Birdie were bought into rescue after being found at the age of 2 weeks old cold and without their mother. Both kittens were emaciated and took a while to thrive within our care. We feel grateful that Tweet and Birdie made it.
Birdie is small for her age and will probably always be a petite cat, that is why she is a pocket rocket! Birdie is outgoing and energetic; she loves fighting her small toys and kicking them around. A tunnel and a cardboard box are all she needs with a few balls of paper screwed up.
Every morning and when she is tired, Birdie likes to seek me out for a cuddle. She likes to sit on my chest or cuddle into my lap. Her head flips back as she sleeps away. Birdie enjoys greeting our feline-friendly dog, she rubs along her legs and up to her face. She is kind to our adult cats but does not try to engage them in any play.
Birdie loves her mealtimes; she prefers wet food over her dry food. She eats Royal Canin Kitten loaf/gravy/jelly. She is a great eater and never misses a meal, often finishing off our adult cat's food. Birdie has met a lot of people and is always eager to curl up for a nap on them. She has not been around children, but if supervised she should be fine.
Why not enquire about Birdie and see if she is the right fit for your home?
